Their love story started 10 ago when Jordann met Mitchell in high school marching band. It took 8 of these years for Jordann to realize the man of her dreams was right in front of her the entire time. The two spent many summers together on the shores of Lake Erie, attended band camp, and were homecoming sweethearts. After high school, they became “just friends” and denied their feelings for what felt like forever. When Jordann moved back into town, Mitchell asked her on a date 1 day later to go running. They quickly reconnected on their remarkably similar interests and values. A week later, on an unusually warm Christmas Eve they ate Christmas cookies on the beach at gazed at the Cleveland skyline. Jordann knew that night that she would be with him forever. 1 year later Christmas Eve at the Sankaty Head light house under a sky full of stars Mitchell asked Jordann to be his wife. They had a church ceremony for two at the Nantucket First Congregational Church on a Tuesday in January. There they made unbreakable vows and worshiped God for His sovereign plans and perfect timing. Now they are celebrating 1 year of marriage, 1 year of dating, and 10 years of love and friendship with their family and friends, back on the shores of Lake Erie--the Sandusky Yacht Club to be exact. And I was lucky enough to capture this day for them and to be apart of their story.
