Paige and Kurt had known each-other since high school. One summer during college they both happened to be vacationing in the Outer Banks at the same time. That same-place-same-time connection got them dm-ing on instagram until they both got home, where they set up their first date. As soon as they graduated, Kurt proposed at their favorite date spot - the Cleveland Museum of Art. They got to work building their life together including buying their very own home and getting their pup, Oliver.
This was an extremely special wedding for me to photograph. A couple years ago I started working with a local marketing firm on taking their office headshots, and website content. That was where I first met Paige who happened to work there. From that and our engagement session where I got to meet Kurt, I felt so connected to them by the time their wedding date swung around. Pictured is a photo us plus my second shooter, Stephen, having a good time at their backyard reception.
Wedding Day Itinerary:
Their day started out with the guys and gals getting ready in their rooms at the Hyatt Regency in the Cleveland Arcade. Their ceremony was at Saint Ambrose Parish. Following the ceremony were group photos at Voinovich Park. We talked ourselves into getting access on the Good Times 3 ship to take some more epic photos then we finished off the night at their reception which was set up in their stunning boho backyard. Enjoy their photo story below!
